Coordinate a household cook without briefing them every morning

Playbook

Managing a household cook fails in the hand-off: spice level, no onion-garlic, soak the rajma tonight, lunch is locked. A cook schedule is not a marketplace listing. It is shared visibility of the plan.

What the cook needs

  • Today's meals and time.
  • Household diet, allergies, and taste rules.
  • The recipe and substitutions, including a cook-along if they want it.
  • Prep reminders that land the night before, not after the shop is closed.

Cook as a Service enrolls a cook as a household role so they see the same calendar and preferences. Hiring an on-demand cook for a planned meal is a request, not a live booking network — we do not pretend otherwise.
