Household meal planning for working couples and parents

Playbook

Working couples and parents lose the evening to the same question: what should we cook today? A household meal planner answers it before 7pm, including Indian households that cook full courses — not a single dish with nothing on the side.

Plan a week, keep a month

A weekly meal planner is the useful horizon for shopping. A month of meals avoids repeating the same dal every Tuesday. Both only work if diet, allergies, and “we will not eat that” are household rules, not a chat you have to re-type.

Vote, then lock

If more than one person eats the meal, someone will hate a surprise. Let people veto while there is still time to swap. Inside a day, lock the plan so the cook is not briefed twice.

Cook as a Service keeps the calendar, vetoes, and cook-along on the household. See also grocery planning.
